3D/Color Ultrasound
Dr. Stein is now able to perform 3D and/or Color transvaginal gynecologic ultrasound in her office. This technology has been available for years and has been continually upgraded. It is particularly good at detecting gynecologic cancers, the location of polyps and fibroids in the uterus, ectopic (e.g. tubal) pregnancies, and other gynecologic abnormalities. There are no special preparations needed for this test.
